ECCO Aqua
ECCO Aqua is an innovative, biocompatible monthly replacement contact lens with UV filter. The very good bio-compatible abilities are based on a high water adhering bionic material. The surface of the contact lens shows nearly a bio-molecular structure like the mucin layer of the eye. The bio-compatible structure improves – like the natural mucin layer – the stability of the tear film and the wettability of the contact lens. Hyaluronic acid as an ingredient in the unpreserved storing solution of the lens blister leads to a very good spontaneous wearing comfort of the lens. The natural wetting agent acts like a soft pillow between contact lens and cornea and cares for a comfortable feeling while inserting the lens.
Use of lens
ECCO Aqua is best for all frequent replacement contact lens users, who have problems with dry eye sensation or fading wearing comfort during the day. The contact lens has a brilliant optic. Due to the aspheric design slight astigmatisms up to 0.50 dpt. can be corrected.
Recommendations for lens-fitting
Determining factors are the glass refraction and the radius of the cornea. The position of the lens should be controlled in terms of centring, movement and remaining correction after one hour.

The non-ionic surface, the low tendency of dehydration
