ECCO silicone comfort zoom
The ECCO silicone comfort zoom is a multifocal monthly disposable contact lens made from silicone hydrogel. Its lens is concentric, with close-up vision at the center of the contact lens. Thanks to the aberration-corrected front optics and the flexible addition profile, the wearers of this multifocal lens can see perfectly and sharply at all distances. Due to a special production technology the lens has extraordinary wetting abilities and wearing comfort. A diffusion technique is the reason for adherence of hyaluronate gel to the material surface. The extremely hydrophilic hyaluronate guarantees a high water adherence, an excellent wettability and long-lasting wearing comfort. The lean design, the wee-balanced water content and the high oxygen transmissibility complete the features of the lens.
Hyaluronic acid as an ingredient in the unpreserved storing solution of the lens blister leads to a very good spontaneous wearing comfort of the lens. The natural wetting agent acts like a soft pillow between contact lens and cornea and cares for a comfortable feeling while inserting the lens.

Recommendations for lens-fitting
Determining factors are the glass refraction and the radius of the cornea. The position of the lens should be controlled in terms of centring, movement, remaining correction and stabilisation after one hour.

Adequate movement of the lens while blinking during the whole daily wearing time with constant stabilisation.
