ECCO soft 55 UV 400
The ECCO soft 55 UV 400 is a low-cost thin contact lens with a UV blocker, which is ideal for use in addition to glasses for sports and leisure with a wearing period of up to six months. Its extremely high spontaneous compatibility also makes it particularly attractive for first-time wearers.
Use of lens
The ECCO soft 55 UV 400 can be used with almost all corneal radii below 1.00 dpt astigmatism. Despite its low center thickness, the contact lens has high dimensional stability and its handling also makes it suitable for first-time wearers.
Recommendations for lens-fitting
Radius 8.60: Mean corneal radius < 7.80
Radius 8.90: Mean corneal radius > 7.80
The fit of the contact lenses should be checked after approximately one hour for centering, mobility, and possible residual correction.
Characteristics of an optimal fitting
Adequate movement of the lens while blinking with a continuous stabilisation during the day.
Special recommendation
